Two completely different perspectives on the future of publishing: One is depressive, pointing out everything that is going in the wrong direction. The other perspective only sees opportunities. Check out this inspiring video from the publishing house DorlingKindersley.
I came across this video today and found it smart and inspiring. So I just wanted to share it as the thought embedded in it are very much in line with this blog.
Do make sure to watch the video all the way to the end!
The video was produced by publishing company DorlingKindersley. They write the following about how they came about the idea:
- At DK we have been doing a lot of thinking recently about the future and about how we are at the tipping point of how people will read and access information. It’s an exciting time and we have really enjoyed envisaging what our business may be like in 2020. From that thinking the marketing team created this short film with the help of Khaki, a video production company, that captured the way we are changing as a company and how we are really listening to the people who access our content.
Thanks to my colleague Pål Bråtelund for drawing my attention to the video.
